There are men in the city that are plotting to murder the prophet Lehi. When God commands Lehi to take his family and flee into the wilderness, he moves quickly. The speed of this decision heats up the family dynamic and pushes his youngest son, Nephi, to find out if God really is behind all of this.
Nephi gets his answer just in time.
When the commandment comes from God to return to Jerusalem and retrieve a scriptural record of the Jews from the ruthless Laban, Lehi turns to Nephi for help. Nephi must use his newfound knowledge that God lives to convince his brothers to have faith as they repeatedly place their lives in danger.
